Lozivate-F Cream

Product Description

Clobetasol Propionate 0.05%, Fusidic Acid 2%.

Lozivate-F is a logical solution in Dermatitis with secondary bacterial infection with the combination of a potent steroid activity & an Anti-bacterial agent. Fusidic Acid offers all the properties of an ideal agent to control S. Aureus in skin infections. The synergistic approach with Lozivate-F brings a better patient compliance and satisfaction.

Mechanism of Action:

Clobetasolhas anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, and vasoconstrictive properties. Acts by the induction of phospholipase A2 inhibitory proteins, collectively called lipocortins. These proteins control the biosynthesis of potent mediators of inflammation such as prostaglandins and leukotrienes by inhibiting the release of their common precursor, arachidonic acid. Arachidonic acid is released from membrane phospholipids by phospholipase A2.

Fusidicacid works by interfering with bacterial protein synthesis, specifically by preventing the translocation of the elongation factor G (EF-G) from the ribosome.

Lozivate-F treats dermatitis with secondary bacterial infection. Fusidic acid in Lozivate-F shows exceptionally good skin penetration through both intact and damaged skin, enabling it to reach antibacterial concentrations at the site of infection.

Apply a thin layer of Lozivate-F should be applied to the affected skin areas twice daily and rub gently and completely.
